Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Backup Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data protection and a proven track record of managing enterprise-class backup environments. Key responsibilities include performing backups and restores, creating new backup groups and schedules, troubleshooting failed jobs, maintaining backup software and hardware, and providing top-level technical consultancy services to clients and internal teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent knowledge of Dell EMC backup solutions, including Networker and Data Domain. Additionally, expertise in Windows, Linux/Unix operating systems, virtualization solutions like VMware, and basic networking concepts is highly desirable. Proficiency in French (B2 level) and English (written and spoken) is mandatory. Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with IBM backup solutions, such as Spectrum Protect/TSM, and other relevant technologies.
