Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Build Environment Expert to join our global team at Infotree Global Solutions.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing our user experience for client project teams by on-boarding our global build framework based on Bazel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extend and improve an inner source project based on Bazel, utilized by thousands of engineers worldwide.
  • Review and implement suggested code changes from external or internal stakeholders.
  • Support project teams in on-boarding our global Bazel build framework.
  • Advise project teams on Bazel best practices.
  • Create training materials and share expertise with project teams on using Bazel.
  • Develop documentation around Bazel and our global build framework.
  • Troubleshoot issues, with support from colleagues when needed.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • An Information Technology degree or equivalent.
  • Experience with scripting languages and a willingness to explore C/C++ code.
  • Familiarity with build environments, source code management, and configuration systems like Bazel/Make/CMake, GIT, Jira, and Docker.
  • Agile software development knowledge.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A curious mindset, challenging the status quo, and a strategic approach to planning ahead.

This role comes with an estimated salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
