About the Role

As a Cloud Engineer Specialist, you will play a key role in providing engineering expertise to support the transformation of our global engineering community. This is an exciting opportunity to work on internal tooling used by CTO, write and maintain high-quality code in DevOps languages, and work with hybrid cloud and public cloud.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work on internal tooling used by CTO to improve current practices, tools, and systems.
  • Write and maintain high-quality code in DevOps languages such as Ansible, Python, and Terraform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and deployment processes.
  • Participate in on-call rotations or production support as needed.
  • Contribute to internal documentation, standards, and best practices for CI/CD and DevOps tooling.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and deployment processes.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Rlevant work experience in GCP Cloud, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible.
  • Deep knowledge and hands-on experience of running Kubernetes.
  • Able to act as a subject matter expert to others on Ansible and help debug complex playbooks.
  • Knowledge of a CI/CD tool such as Jenkins.
  • Very good understanding of architecture and design patterns used for cloud services.
  • Strong hands-on working experience with Terraform.
  • Exposure/knowledge of an enterprise DevOps environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and spoken).
