Job Description:

GMI Software is seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend E-commerce Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable and efficient e-commerce solutions using Node.js.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop robust backend systems for e-commerce applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize features and requirements
  • Ensure high-quality code and follow best practices for testing, deployment, and maintenance
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in backend development with Node.js
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, cloud-based solutions (AWS preferred), and databases (MySQL and PostgreSQL)
  • Familiarity with automated testing tools and CI/CD processes
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Medusa.JS or other e-commerce systems
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and scrum development
  • Portfolio or GitHub presence demonstrating relevant projects and contributions
