Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mid-Level Technical QA Tester to join our team at Reality Games. The ideal candidate will have experience with Unity game engine and backend development, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manual and technical testing of mobile games
  • Development of comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Performance of functional, exploratory, regression, usability, performance, and compatibility testing
  • Identification, documentation, and tracking of bugs using industry-standard tools
  • Analysis of game design specifications and provision of feedback on potential issues
  • Collaboration with developers, designers, and production teams to ensure smooth communication and efficient issue resolution
  • Participation in risk assessment for new features and game updates
  • Assistance in mentoring junior testers and contribution to improving testing workflows
  • Adherence to QA best practices and refinement of testing strategies
  • Use of database tools (e.g., MySQL) to verify game data integrity
  • Performance of backend API testing and validation of server-side functionalities
  • Debugging and analysis of logs using Unity debugging tools and backend monitoring systems

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in QA testing, preferably in the gaming industry
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test design, and software development processes
  • Experience with mobile game testing (iOS and Android platforms)
  • Solid experience with Unity game engine and debugging tools
  • Basic understanding of backend development and ability to test server-side functionality
  • Experience with REST API testing and tools like Postman
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and proactively identify potential issues
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a structured approach to testing
  • Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, or similar)
  • Knowledge of SQL/MySQL for database validation
  • English B2 or higher (spoken and written)
