Aon Hewitt is seeking an experienced Regulatory Frameworks and Compliance Specialist to join our team. In this crucial role, you will evaluate and validate control evidence related to on-prem and cloud-based infrastructure.

You will work closely with a diverse global team to ensure compliance with various regulatory standards, conducting walkthrough meetings, performing testing on controls, and advising on remediation for identified deficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Participate in walkthrough meetings with control owners to discuss control designs and operating effectiveness.
  2. Evaluate provided control evidence, ensuring completeness and accuracy, IPE requirements, and determining testing conclusions for design and operating effectiveness.
  3. Perform testing on controls related to on-prem and cloud-based infrastructure, adjusting results based on reviewer feedback.
  4. Advise on suggested remediation for control deficiencies, clearly articulating the gap and suggesting remediation activities.
  5. Support internal audits, regulatory audits, and client requests as needed, contributing to our Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical or business field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in ITGC execution, testing, internal audit, or external audit functions.
  • Experience completing testing, status updates, and reporting using a GRC tool.
  • Ability to independently manage workload to achieve agreed-upon milestones.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency, including macros, advanced formulas, and pivot tables.
  • Comfortable communicating in English during group calls of 10-20 people.
  • Experience performing control testing for regulations like SOX, PCI, MAS, HIPAA, NYDFS, FCA, or other relevant requirements.
