We are seeking an experienced AP Accountant to join our dynamic team in Gdansk, Poland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Follow-up on invoice approvals and clarify discrepancies with business partners.
  • Detailed review of posting correctness prior to month close.
  • Reconcile accounts and open issues daily, providing explanations to other departments as needed.
  • Monthly and accurate AP-GL reconciliations, accruals posting, currency revaluations.
  • Quarterly reviewing of open transactions on vendor accounts, contact with vendors to clear outstanding balances.
  • Ad-hoc reporting and process documentation updates.
  • Perform relevant controls and testing of ERP systems.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related area.
  • Min. 1 year professional experience as an AP Accountant.
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Professional certifications seen as an asset.
  • Knowledge of D365/AX an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Excel).
  • Able to work independently, organized and diligent.
  • Good written communication skills.
  • Collaboration, results-driven and quality-oriented.
  • Friendly attitude.
