Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development and extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) . You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and applications that are scalable, reliable, and secure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and applications using Java and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java backend development.
  • Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Storage, and BigQuery.
  • Proficient in Java, with a good understanding of its ecosystems.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Experience with microservices architecture.
