Feel invited What you will do: Implement state-of-the-art machine learning methods for analyzing microscopy data, enabling meta-data extraction and classification. Design and optimize deep learning algorithms from ideation through deployment, with emphasis on large-scale 3D image data. . Assure the integrity of project data (data extraction, storage, management, processing, and analysis). Work with world-class researchers and scientists to develop new machine learning methods and approaches. Work in an agile, research-driven environment, reporting progress directly to scientific partners and iterating rapidly to support discovery. Conduct exploratory data analysis and craft clear, compelling visualisations, diving deep into complex patterns and structures to uncover meaningful biological insights and present them effectively to clients and scientific partners. Experience and skills you need to join us: Team-work attitude with great communication skills. Software development and coding skills: Python, clean code, code reviews, algorithms and data structures. Experience in deep learning-focused projects, ideally biomedical with a particular emphasis on microscopic imaging data. Knowledge of machine learning: various problems in ML modeling - especially Computer Vision problems, types of modeling, popular models, ways of evaluating the models, deep learning, neural networks, convolutional neural networks, transformers etc. Data-based problem-solving skills, i.e. ability to propose an appropriate tool from either ML, statistics, or software development toolbox to solve client’s problem. Fluency in deep learning and related libraries: numpy, pytorch or tensorflow, etc. MSc/PhD in computer science, machine learning, signal processing, or related fields. Fluency in Polish and English (you will attend meetings with English speaking clients). It would be great if you also have: Publication track record in top-tier machine learning/computer vision/natural language processing venues (CVPR, NIPS, ECCV, ICML, ICASSP, ICLR).
