We are seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our growing Sales Engineering department. This role is tailored for a detail-oriented technical professional who will be responsible for managing and responding to technical and security-focused due diligence questionnaires (DDQs) . Over time, this individual will have the opportunity to expand their scope to support sales engagements as a coverage Solutions Engineer, helping to articulate the value of Egnyte to prospective customers.
Take ownership of the process of responding to technical and security-focused Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) from customers and prospects.
Collaborate with internal teams, including InfoSec, Product, Engineering, Legal, HR and Compliance, to ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality responses.
Work closely with Account Executives, SEs, and other stakeholders to understand customer requirements and provide tailored responses.
Assist the Sales team during technical discussions, demos, and Proof-of-Concepts (POCs).
Act as a trusted advisor to customers by addressing their technical needs and concerns.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
~2+ years of experience in technical roles such as Solutions Engineering, Technical Support, Professional Services, IT Analyst or a similar position.
~ Solid understanding of information security principles, compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001), and cloud technologies.
~ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
~ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
~ Ability to quickly grasp and explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
