Responsibilities
- You take ownership of a new project , with the opportunity to build and lead your own development team.
- As both the Team Lead and Technical Lead , you will oversee the development of Java applications for a key client in the German financial sector.
- You lead your team using Agile methodologies , fostering collaboration and mentoring team members on technical best practices.
- You act as the point of contact for the client, ensuring smooth project coordination and communication.
- You work with a technology stack:
- Backend: Java 17, Spring Batch
- Frontend: React, Material UI
- Testing: Junit, Mockito
- You are responsible for the product you build.
- You actively contribute ideas to develop innovative solutions.
- You work in an agile environment, using scrum.
- You meet with your team in the office (Katowice) at least once a month to plan your work and discuss progress.
- You have the possibility to develop yourself not only as a leader but also as a developer.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Communication skills in German is a plus.
- Successful completion of higher education as a qualified IT specialist or university degree in computer science.
- At least 8 years of experience working as a Backend or Fullstack developer with Java, ideally with React as well.
- Experience in code testing.
- Experience working in an agile environment.
- Experience working in a self-organized team.
- Good familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
- Leadership project experience is a plus.
