Senior IT Test Manager

You will be part of an agile delivery team responsible for defining and maintaining the end-to-end test strategy across products and releases. The team’s goal is to guarantee high-quality deliveries through well-structured testing practices, risk-based testing, and strong traceability from requirements to results. Expected competences and knowledge Minimum 5 years of professional experience in  software quality assurance Proven ability to analyze requirements and design structured  test strategies and plans Solid SQL and NoSQL knowledge (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB); understanding of database schemas and relationships Proficiency in test design techniques (boundary, equivalence partitioning, pairwise, model-based testing) Experience in testing microservices architectures and service dependencies Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum/SAFe methodologies, release and PI planning Hands-on experience in system integration and end-to-end testing Strong knowledge of REST principles and API testing tools (e.g. Postman, Swagger) Familiarity with test data management practices Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written) Responsibilities you'll have Analyze and review business and system requirements from a QA perspective Design comprehensive test plans, test scenarios and cases ensuring full coverage Define and drive end-to-end test strategy across multiple products (risk-based testing, quality KPIs) Conduct requirements quality and testability reviews (user stories, acceptance criteria, Gherkin/BDD) Build and maintain test plans per release or epic, defining clear entry and exit criteria Orchestrate and execute system integration, UAT and end-to-end testing activities Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, defects, and evidence Choose appropriate test types per risk level (functional, integration, regression, exploratory, etc.) Support contract testing, schema validation and backward compatibility verification Prepare and manage test data for manual and automated testing Perform API testing, validate REST endpoints and verify behavior (methods, status codes, headers) Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders within Agile/Scrum/SAFe environments Client – why choose this particular client from the Jit portfolio?
