We are looking for a SRE Staff Software Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for SRE and DevOps activities for a world-class product engineering team that is paving the way for new ways for enterprises to consume cloud services. Job Responsibilities: Architect, design, and develop: Develop and implement DevOps and SRE strategies to optimize the software delivery lifecycle. Work with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) technologies for scalable deployment. Work with big data technologies for deployment and monitoring. Ensure solutions meet business objectives in line with architectural guidelines. Participate in design and peer code reviews. Deploy and operationalize: Design, build, and manage infrastructure for SaaS applications with a focus on automation and infrastructure as code. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines. Instrument observability using tools like Cloudflare and AppDynamics. Fix production issues adhering to SLAs. Collaborate: Work in a globally distributed team with minimal supervision. Collaborate with product owners and teams across regions. Evaluate and integrate tools to enhance development and operations. Investigate and evaluate new technologies. Qualifications: Bachelor's or master's degree with 5+ years in Computer Science or related field. Strong programming foundation with knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns. 2+ years of SRE or DevOps experience. Proficient in Docker, Kubernetes, and Apigee Gateway. Experience with cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Skilled in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Perl, PHP, Ruby. Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI. Knowledge of Java and related technologies. Understanding of RDBMS and NoSQL databases like Redis, MongoDB, Cassandra. Experience with Big Data technologies like Kafka and Flink. Familiar with Git and version control. Basic enterprise Java skills including Spring Boot, REST APIs, Maven, JUnit. Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
