Solutions Architect

Solutions Architect – GlobalLogic (Healthcare) Join GlobalLogic’s Architects Team within the Healthcare Business Unit, supporting clients across the EMEA region. This strategic role focuses on engaging new clients, shaping impactful technical solutions, and launching innovative DevOps-driven projects in the healthcare space. You will translate client challenges into actionable architectures, lead discovery and solutioning efforts, and ensure successful project kickoffs. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or higher 10+ years of commercial software development experience, with at least 3 years as an SW Architect AWS cloud platform experience (mandatory) Experience with enterprise technology stacks (.NET, Java, etc.) Expertise in medical device QMS, digital patient engagement, clinical analytics, clinical trials software, healthcare data interoperability, or remote patient monitoring with IoMT Technical advisories & application modernization experience Mobile systems build experience Test automation teamwork Regulated medical software development (Class B or higher) Enterprise-scale cloud & hybrid infrastructure architecture Cloud-agnostic solution design for Healthcare domain Data solutions architecture (pipelines, ETL, governance) Architecture diagramming & documentation skills Upper-Intermediate English Ability to define & propose solution architecture, estimate cost, and justify decisions Strong communication and presentation skills Optional Experience with EMR/Clinical Systems, telehealth, data warehouses, connected devices, HIPAA/HITRUST compliance Application infrastructure expertise Knowledge of FDA regulations and embedded medical device software Cloud migration experience Cybersecurity & privacy standards (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.) Pre-sales experience Job responsibilities Engage with prospective and existing clients to understand business needs, technical challenges, and goals within the healthcare domain. Lead technical discovery sessions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define solution architecture that aligns with client expectations and industry best practices. Design and present scalable, secure, and cost-effective architecture solutions, with a strong focus on cloud technologies, interoperability, and architecture practices. Translate complex healthcare-related requirements into actionable technical solutions and high-level architecture designs. Drive proposal development and pre-sales activities, including effort estimation, risk identification, and technical presentations to stakeholders. Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to execution, enabling successful project initiation and alignment with client objectives. Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients, providing insights into emerging technologies and solution options within the healthcare space. Contribute to architectural governance and best practices, and support continuous improvement within the Architects Team. Support business development initiatives by identifying new opportunities, developing proof of concepts, and contributing to strategic growth planning.
