These tools model the underwriting process and integrate pricing mechanisms, forming the core of our client’s value chain. We use a modern microservice architecture with technologies such as Java, Kotlin, Spring on the backend, and Angular, NodeJS, Express, Fastify on the frontend. Your Profile Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent experience English proficiency (minimum B2 level) 10+ years of experience in backend development Strong skills in Java Core, Spring Boot, Spring Data, JPA, Hibernate, RabbitMQ Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture Skilled in API design and maintenance Proficient in relational databases and query optimization Familiar with testing approaches and code validation Knowledge of browser debugging techniques Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) Agile methodology experience (SAFe is a plus) Kafka and architectural design experience are a plus Willingness to learn Kotlin and Quarkus if not already familiar Responsibilities Design and implement complex software applications using REST microservices with Java, Kotlin, Spring, and JUnit. Collaborate in cross‑functional Agile teams with BAs, POs, QAs, FEs, and UX Designers. Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability. Monitor product quality and apply design patterns. Lead technical discussions for continuous improvement. Communicate effectively with stakeholders across various levels and backgrounds. Analyze project environments and propose solutions. Requirements Degree in relevant field. Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data, JPA, Hibernate, RabbitMQ. Strong knowledge of data structures, microservices architecture, and API design. Relational database experience and testing skills. Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions. Agile methodology (SAFe) experience. Kafka and architectural design experience (plus).
