Job Description We are looking for a leader, experienced in purchasing and sourcing, to lead a global team of purchasing specialists (buyers) based in Riga, Latvia and Ostrava, Czech Republic. In this role you will hire and retain a well-performing team, drive the performance and development of our purchase processes across Tietoevry, in collaboration with accounts payable, sourcing, requestors and various development teams. In addition, as part of the Sourcing Operational Review leadership team, you will contribute to maximizing value and minimizing waste across our supplier base. To be successful, you will need to be a well-organized, self-driven individual with proven knowledge and experience in purchasing/sourcing services and goods, have a good understanding of invoicing, accounts payable and purchase order processes. In addition, an in-depth understanding of sourcing and contracting is an advantage. You are comfortable to work on strategic as well as operational tasks and enjoy working independently in a multicultural and diverse environment with minimal supervision. What will you do? Lead your team to: Fulfil requests for sourcing and purchasing of services and goods across multiple purchase categories and locations Oversee the handover of sourcing contracts into purchasing and exit expired agreements. Onboard suppliers into purchasing, especially suppliers without a signed agreement Guide and train internal stakeholders and requestors on purchasing processes. Act as a subject matter expert for business stakeholders in purchasing, sourcing and contract management. Optimize Tietoevry shop content so that requestors can easily find relevant content and instructions on how to buy Continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the purchase operations and its key performance indicators to maximize value and minimize waste Respond and address ad hoc requests and administrative duties Drive transformation projects when assigned. What are we looking for? At least 5+ years experience in purchasing, sourcing, procurement Proactive, open-minded and solution-oriented approach Takes initiative and is accountable, while not driving only own agenda, but making the whole company succeed Great at building networks and teaming up when needed Growth mindset Able to work independently and multitask effectively Knowledge of MS Office (365)/Word/Excel/Outlook/SharePoint.
