Job Description: The Senior Software QA Engineer (SQA) focuses on the overall quality of a software solution for Customer projects, working closely with Product and Project Development. The Sr. SQA will apply proven communication, problem-solving, and quality assurance skills to guide the technical team on issues related to the design and development of Customer products. What You'll Do : Working as part of a cross-functional project team Reviewing project documents to determine testing objectives and develop test plans and test cases Responsible for installation of Customer software, including configuring the test environment, creating master data to conduct end-to-end testing, system integration testing, and release regression testing. Publishing test reports and metrics after each test to internal project stakeholders Creating and maintaining automated regression suites and/or smoke test suites to be reused during phased go-live and for software change modifications. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field 5+ years of combined experience in quality assurance, verifying systems integration, web services testing, and client-server-based application testing, including warehouse execution systems. Experience developing test plans, leading test events, and preparing test reports. Experience working with Agile Software Development Life-Cycle methodologies. Experience with project & task management and test management software, such as JIRA , qTest , Confluence , or similar systems. Experience with Java test automation platforms such as Serenity , Selenium , etc. Experience working with continuous integration environments and application setup. Good understanding of database design, Postgres/SQL experience, and file management systems. Knowledge of network hardware, protocols, and standards, including TCP/IP, FTP, API, etc. Strong customer-service orientation. Highly self-motivated and directed. Ability to conduct root cause analysis into application development issues; experience troubleshooting from system log files. Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills. Available for occasional domestic and international travel. Solid communication skills in a global development team environment DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with supply chain software products such as WES, WMS, WCS. Previous Java programming experience. Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter and use of Jenkins and dashboards for measuring key performance indicators.
