Are you a highly skilled Data Engineer with a strong background in Python and distributed systems ? Do you have a passion for large-scale data processing and live trading systems ?
We are looking for an experienced engineer to join a dynamic and innovative team working on building and maintaining a distributed system for live trading . This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate on cutting-edge financial technology projects while working remotely within a flexible environment.
Requirements:
- Strong Computer Science background , including knowledge of data structures, algorithms, distributed computing, and operating systems
- Extensive Python experience , including traditional Python tools for data processing
- Expertise in Data Engineering & Data Science (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, Scikit-learn)
- Experience with distributed computing and familiarity with cluster software like Kubernetes
- Ability and willingness to learn new concepts and technologies quickly
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Python applications for live trading systems
- Work on large-scale data processing and algorithmic trading models
- Build and optimize distributed systems to support real-time trading operations
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to define and implement new features
- Ensure code quality through testing, reviewing, and best practices
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Background as a Quantitative Developer
- Experience with JavaScript (Vue.js or React.js)
- Interest in trading algorithms and financial markets
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK, etc.)
- Experience with lower-level programming languages like C/C++
