Job Description

The IBM ACE Senior Platform Architect will own the design, configuration/build and implementation of the Enterprise Integration Services (EPIS) Platform on Azure AKS, AWS EKS & RedHat OpenShift which is the Global Integration Platform of DSV. Apply industry best practices as well as client standards shall be adhered to. This includes functional, security, performance, quality, and operational requirements. Design must be robust and account for HA and DR.

Required Experience:

  • 15 -20 years of IT experience on Building platforms and developing middleware application using IBM ACE and IBM MQ Advanced on cloud environments.
  • Hands-On experience building & implementing IBM ACE Platform on AKS or EKS or OpenShift or any other Cloud in a Containerized Set up.
  • Hands-On experience on Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of DevOps.

Responsibilities & Responsibilities:

  • Proven excellence in providing technical consultation throughout the technical life cycle of both internal and external customer integration solutions.
  • Proficient in Design, build, and implement integration solutions using IBM CP4I components such as IBM App Connect (ACE), and IBM Advanced MQ.
  • Expertise in business Integration using IBM ACE Toolkit, based on Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
  • Proven excellence in designing and developing custom adaptors to integrate SQL Server DB and third-party applications
  • Proficient in the installation, configuration, administration, and support of IBM MQ, creation of Queue Manager, Queue's and channels on AIX and windows operating systems.
  • Experience on using ACE & MQ container versions on cloud environments (Azure, AWS, OpenShift).
  • Good understanding of DevOps process.
  • Articulated leadership with notable success in directing a broad range of corporate IT initiatives, while participating in yearly planning, analysis & implementation of solutions in support of business objectives.
  • Expertise in Performance Tuning and optimization of middleware applications.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software problems and interacted with IT staff or vendors in performing complex testing, support, and troubleshooting functions.
  • Good communication skills (Verbal and written).
  • Working experience in Agile development methodology is preferable.
