Project
We are seeking a
QA Automation Engineer
to join our client, a fast-growing technology company delivering advanced IT services and cloud-based solutions to international clients. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing
automated test cases
, enhancing test
frameworks
, and integrating automation within
CI/CD
pipelines to identify issues early in the
development cycle
. We are looking for someone with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset focused on improving testing processes and software quality.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Product Owners, Developers, DevOps, and other QA Engineers to test and deliver new product features
• Analyse business requirements, internal designs, and non-functional requirements
• Participate in user story estimation and sprint planning
• Design and maintain automated test frameworks for API and mobile testing
• Implement BDD/TDD practices across all software solutions
• Write and execute automated test scripts to achieve strong regression and integration coverage
• Perform exploratory manual testing when needed and document edge cases
• Review system logs, monitor databases, and identify opportunities for automation
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Follow industry best practices to ensure reliability, maintainability, and scalability of testing processes

Expected competences and knowledge

• 3+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer in a modern software development environment
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript or JavaScript, preferably in a microservices architecture
• Proven experience with API automation (REST APIs, integration testing) and mobile automation (iOS and Android)
• Strong BDD/TDD background, with emphasis on automation over manual testing
• Good understanding of the test pyramid and experience designing maintainable test frameworks
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with SpecFlow
• Working knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases
• Experience with Git-based version control systems (GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket)
• Experience working in Agile environments (preferably Kanban)

Nice to Have

• Experience in the payments industry or familiarity with PCI DSS standards
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
