Application Operation Engineer

As an Application Operation Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and resolving issues in both custom-built systems and off-the-shelf solutions, acting as the first point of contact for any system-related incidents. You will manage ServiceNow changes and incidents, maintain comprehensive documentation, oversee technical user recertifications, ensure compliance with Tech Foundation Requirements, and collaborate closely with administrators, developers, and key business stakeholders.

Our team is part of Cost Processing & Transactions cluster.We are supporting our clients in many areas of Finance.

We are responsible for the SAP software solutions (mainly SAP Classic) in Germany and abroad (eg London Branch), which are used by Commerzbank and ComTS Finance GmbH for financial or controlling-driven corporate processes such as asset accounting, travel expense reporting, invoice settlement or project controlling.

With systems created by our team we are meeting demands which cannot be met by "box" products. We develop and maintain applications used in controlling environment (group and segment controlling) which provide planning, analysis and reporting functions. Working close with business we are able to quicly adapt them to current regulations and needs.

What you will be doing?

• Monitoring and troubleshooting for both systems created by our teams and "box" products
• Being first point of contact for issues with the systems person is responsible for.
• Maintain ServiceNow changes and incidents
• Working with documentation
• Recertification of technical users
• Care about Tech Foundation Requirements (Book of standards)
• Close cooperation with admins, developers and key business users.

Which technology & skills are important for us?

• Good knowledge of Windows Server, Linux
• Good knowledge of Relational databases (Oracle, MS SQL)
• Good knowledge of OpenShift
• Good knowledge of UC4 (job scheduler)
• Good knowledge of ETL tools
• Basic knowledge of OpenShift
• English (B2 level)

Nice To Have

• Basic knowledge of JIRA/Confluence
• Basic knowledge of WebSphere/Tomcat
• Basic knowledge of Power shell, Unix scripts
