Here at Brenntag we are looking for a Director of Controlling to join our Material Science business unit. This role can be based anywhere in Europe.

Job Description:

  • Financial steering & business co-piloting to the Material Science BU incl. planning, forecasting, trending, and analysis
  • Part of the development and execution of the Strategic of the Material Science business in EMEA
  • Drive actions for improvement and efficiency of BSP Material Science in the region.
  • Prepare and evaluate investment decisions and contract approvals when required
  • Support and work alongside non-financial management
  • Ensure compliance of business procedures, reporting compliance, controls, and risk assessments
  • Review and analyse working capital to achieve optimization
  • Support M&A in valuation, negotiations support, and alignment with stakeholders

Candidate Requirements:

  • Multiple years experience in a FP&A / Controlling position
  • Strong analytical skills & the ability to communicate across business functions
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own workload within a busy environment
