We are on a mission to build Big Data platforms and Serverless applications that host a lot of data and run various analytical workloads. We are looking for a talented Senior Python Developer, who wants to embark on this mission with us.
Senior Python Developer (Energy Sector)
What will you be doing?**

  • Develop and operationalize performant, high-available and scalable APIs & services to provide accessible and quality data products.
  • Define, implement and maintain performant data models as well as robust and scalable storage solutions.
  • Establish and implement methods and tooling to improve overall data quality and lineage capabilities.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and providing data-driven solutions.
  • Collaborate with our internal infrastructure team on cloud solutions, specifically build and maintain IaaS tasks.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications, develop solutions, and ensure their cost-effectiveness and sustainability.

You Must Have

  • Very good knowledge of Python, more than 5 years of experience in professional Python development
  • Extensive practical knowledge in one or more widely adopted programming languages (C#, Java or similar).
  • Experience in energy or trading sector projects
  • Prior experience with Cloud infrastructure and services (preferably Azure) and ideally demonstrated hands-on experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines as well as broader DevOps practices.
  • Working knowledge of database technologies (preferably PostgreSQL).
  • Being a hands-on problem solver, complex problem analysis and solution-design thinking are among your core strengths.
  • You bring strong communication skills and can adapt to, manage and influence a variety of business & IT stakeholders.
  • Fluent in Polish and English
