Blue Projects is looking for experienced Senior Utilities Engineer with FMCG utilities and production process backgrounds. Able to assess a situation and seek multiple perspectives.

Your responsibilities:

· The incumbent will fulfil the role of Senior Utilities Engineer, which is a position requiring strong and aligned technical skills and competencies, inclusive of the ability to translate engineering fundamentals into practical application. The relevant fields of engineering include but are not limited to:

  1. Refrigeration systems
  2. Steam raising and heating
  3. Water system hydraulics and pre-treatment
  4. Compressed air ü Piping design, and system
  5. Calculations for heat balances
  6. Perform detailed technical plant assessments and audits, and generate appropriate reports
  7. Play a lead role in projects delivery, including bidding processes, team coordination, financial reporting and handover.
  8. Lead the task of commissioning and testing project solutions.
  9. Manage and build sustainable supplier relationships.
  10. Be able and willing to travel domestically and internationally, as the various projects may require.

Our requirements: QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  1. BSc / BEng / BTech Mechanical Engineering
  2. Professional registration (PrEng or similar)
  3. 5+ years' experience in the utilities engineering environment
  4. Knowledge of contracting formats and implementation
  5. Strong people skills with the ability to cooperate and collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams
  6. Project Management experience will be an advantage KEY COMPETENCIES AND GENERIC SKILLS:
  7. 5+ years relevant experience in the mechanical utilities sector, including suitable involvement in major projects
  8. Excellent application of appropriate engineering fundamentals · Ability to function autonomously and to self-initiate the development of technical skills and competencies
  9. Excellent communication skills, both written and direct one-on-one
  10. Engineering management and coordination skills · Ability to lead and/or implement multiple projects simultaneously
