For our Breslau location, we are looking for you to strengthen our team on a full-time basis

Regional Commodity Buyer ICs & Semi-Discrete Components (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for the regional procurement of the product group ICs and semi-discrete components (e.g., diodes, microcontrollers, MCUs) in the EU region, monitor relevant KPIs at supplier and product group level, and implement global sourcing strategies.
• As a driving force in regional sourcing boards, you will coordinate with project purchasing for pre-series activities and conduct contract negotiations for regional projects as well as annual price negotiations.
• You will actively manage regional C-suppliers, define standards in supplier management, and ensure the implementation of all CSR requirements by regional suppliers.
• In close collaboration with global commodity buyers, you will support supplier selection according to project requirements and lead improvement projects at suppliers.
• Your role requires a travel commitment of over 30% worldwide in order to manage localization and relocation projects and foster collaboration within an international team.

Your Qualifications:

• You have several years of experience in procurement within the automotive industry, along with solid technical expertise in ICs, diodes, microcontrollers, and other semi-discrete components.
• You bring an established professional network with leading semiconductor manufacturers such as Texas Instruments (TI), STMicroelectronics (ST), Analog Devices (AD), NXP, or Broadcom.
• A degree in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification is required, as well as in-depth knowledge of industry standards such as VDA 6, IATF 16949,
• As a team player with intercultural awareness, you are capable of working effectively in an international environment and bring a strong willingness to travel worldwide (over 30%).
• We expect a proactive working style, assertiveness, and the ability to respond empathetically and professionally in critical situations.
