Principal Architect

We are looking for a
Principal Architect (Consultant)
to join Sopra Steria Poland team for client in the aerospace sector. The program is run according to SAFe, the Lean-Agile Framework, at Portfolio Management level.

You will work in an industrial, stable environment in multinational team (France, Poland, India) for a major aeronautical manufacturer. The program involves wide portfolio of applications developed by multiple teams.

Note that we can only offer cooperation to people who are willing to commute to our office located in Gdańsk, Poland.
Responsibilities:

• Auditing a solution (infra in AWS + code in .NET) and fine-tuned it to improve performances.
• Providing and advising on scalable architecture, quality code and performance improvement.
• Cooperation with multiple/cross functional teams and Tech Leads/Architects.
• Ensures the relevance and quality of solutions, validating all deliverables within scope.
• Manages customer communication.
• Identifies and controls risks.
• Proactive with compelling propositions for continuous improvement.
• Proposes innovative solutions.
• Designs architectures and oversee their implementation, ensuring the viability, operability, scalability, economic feasibility and matching of solutions with needs.
• Draws on their expertise (software, infrastructure, networks, security) to guarantee the success of projects for customers.

Tech Stack on the project:

• Agile (Scrum and SAFe)
• .Net
• JavaScript
• AWS

Must have requirements:

• .Net coding, architecture experience.
• Knowledge of infrastructure in AWS.
• Experience in cooperating with clients.
• Willing to commute to our office located in Gdańsk, Poland.
• Fluent English: C1/C2.
• Being open to occasional business trips abroad and visits in our office in Katowice.

Nice to have requirements:

• Knowledge or interest in aeronautical sector

The recruitment process in our company consist of three stages:

• a short phone call with a recruiter (30 min max)
• one-hour long interview on Teams (with both general and technical questions)
