If so, come and join our highly dedicated Global Emergency Operations Centre team and be a part of a growing global security organisation This is a full time hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Krakow office.

This role may need to occasionally work evenings and weekends as situations arise. This is a /7 distributed team with a "follow-the-sun" framework.

What the day will look like

Oversees the day to day operational workflow and deliverables of the EMEA/UK Regional team. Conducts a variety of complex assignments within the area of responsibility. Leads incident responses/emergency preparedness activities and provides in-depth research and analysis in support of the risk and security framework of the organization.

  • Serve as primary point of escalation for the EMEA/UK region for any matters reported into GEOC.
  • Manage broad & complex global incidents, emergency notification systems, escalation notifications and help coordinate follow-up actions across a dispersed team during emergencies and major business interruptions.
  • Contribute to the development, reassessment, and upkeep of the GEOC's position in the company-wide risk management framework (policy, standards, guides, SOPs, playbooks, blocking issue protocols, etc.).
  • Oversee application of emergency notification systems.
  • Provide 24/7/365 assistance to colleagues and the business over the phone, e-mail and in person to ensure effective and timely resolution when incidents occur. Participate in 24/7/365 coverage basis backfilling vacant shift slots as needed.
  • Monitor intelligence activity and supporting intelligence assessments to determine potential risks and threats to the business.
  • Assist in the establishment of methodologies to solve analytical problems when raw unfinished data contain information gaps and require validation.
  • Deliver metrics and measurements supporting program evolution and validation as needed.
  • Develop relationships with other internal team members and private/public sector entities responsible for threat related operations, threat monitoring, crisis management and response.
  • Apply the GEOC's onboarding and training standards with the assistance of other GEOC regional leads and the Global Head, Global Emergency Operations Center.
  • Lead team coordination of GEOC engagements, service level agreements, process adherence, goal achievement, and quality delivery.

When needed, the GEOC notify and advises those who need to know about relevant threats and coordination for the response to those events by facilitating incident communications to colleagues, business leaders, and clients while engaging appropriate Subject Matter Experts required for efficient and effective response.

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success

  • 4-year degree - focus in Emergency Management, Homeland Security or a related field a plus
  • 4-6 + years of experience administering emergency response programs; managing emergency notification platforms a plus
  • 3-5 + years of emergency operations center experience
  • 1-3 + years of vendor platform integration experience
  • Advanced skills with Excel or other database manipulation tools.
  • Must have a track record showing courteous and professional behavior when engaging with colleagues and interested parties.
  • Ability to effectively influence the behaviors and decisions of others
  • Ability to work independently or within a team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Must be able to effectively plan, prioritize, and complete tasks in a dynamic environment. Including the ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines.
