Job Description

This is a remote position.

We are looking for an experienced Python / AI Tech Lead to join a growing AI and Data Engineering team driving GenAI initiatives across Europe and the US. The role combines hands-on Python development, solution architecture, and team leadership — building production-grade AI systems with LLMs, vector databases, and orchestration frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph.

Responsibilities:


• Design and develop scalable AI-driven solutions in Python, applying Machine Learning and Deep Learning principles.


• Lead end-to-end implementation from data processing to model deployment and API integration.


• Collaborate with data, cloud, and product teams to define architecture and delivery approach.


• Guide a team of engineers through technical design, development, and code review.


• Ensure adherence to SDLC best practices, testing, and DevOps standards.


• Contribute to PoC development and industrialisation of GenAI and LLM solutions.


• Optimise solutions for scalability, performance, and security in enterprise cloud environments.

Requirements


• Advanced programming skills in Python with focus on AI and data-driven systems.


• Deep knowledge of Machine Learning and AI frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face).


• Experience with LLMs, embeddings, and transformers, including integration of OpenAI or Anthropic APIs.


• Proficiency in prompt engineering and orchestration tools (LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, Crew AI).


• Hands-on with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, Milvus) and GenAI solution design.


• Practical knowledge of MLOps and DevOps tooling (Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).


• Experience deploying AI systems on AWS, Azure, or GCP, using cloud-native services.


• Strong understanding of architecture, APIs, microservices, and security standards (IAM, RBAC).


• Leadership experience managing or mentoring small engineering teams.


• Fluent English (C1).

Nice to have


• Familiarity with data engineering (ETL, Spark, Databricks, Delta Lake).


• Background in NLP/NLU – NER, semantic search, text embedding pipelines.


• Knowledge of observability and monitoring for ML systems (Prometheus, Grafana, MLflow).


• Exposure to serverless or event-driven architectures.
