Sourcing Specialist

Reporting to the Sourcing Manager Containers, you will support the regional Direct organization through the following primary objectives:

• Building reliable and stable relationship with suppliers as a preferred and trusted business partners and ensuring an uninterrupted supply of quality goods at optimum cost,
• Analyze and compare potential and current suppliers and performance; evaluate and recommend new or on-going relationships, 
• Negotiations with suppliers,
• Assist in identifying and accurately interpreting business needs and draft RFx documentation, 
• Perform a variety of complex special projects, which may include switching materials, new formula introductions, new material introductions, REACH, PPT, PEPR, PPWR
• Track sustainable business results, including supply assurance, cost, quality, service and innovation, which are required to meet Sherwin-Williams needs, 
• Analyze and monitor regional Business Unit and Group aligned category strategies throughout the EMEAI organization, tracking savings achievement and business acceptance.

• At least two years of professional direct or indirect sourcing / purchasing experience having:

• Awareness of large-scale and complex Direct sourcing programs, a solid understanding of procurement best practices and a track record of success with direct materials,
• Demonstrated strong self-initiative, sense of urgency, and customer relationship building skills,
• Prior success working with cross-functional/cross-cultural teams, managing international relationships based on common objectives across a wide variety of geographies, leading projects and complex change initiatives across multiple sites and countries,
• Strong organizational and project management skills, 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
• Knowledge of Coupa, Oracle, AI will be considered as an asset, 
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
