Working Student – Software Developer

Job Description
As a Working Student – Software Developer/Test Automation Developer you will become a part of Nokia Software Team. Our Working Students are involved in challenging projects, which enable them to use their technical skills, gain great experience by learning our innovative solutions and acquiring new programming skills.

Working Student is a long-term paid internship, that allows you to kickstart your fabulous journey in the IT and Telecom world. As our Trainee you can have experience working in such areas that correspond to full-time engineering jobs. The internship usually lasts from 6 to 24 months. Education Recommendations:
Active student status for at least one year

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
As a Working Student in the Cloud and Network Services team you will:

• Create automated test scripts, SDK module and internal tools
• Develop & maintain test environment
• Learn problem troubleshooting & defect management
• Maintain documentation in English
• Work with technologies including Python, C/C++, Java, and scripting languages (Shell, Bash) in a Linux environment.
• Get familiar with methodologies: DevOps, Agile

Key Skills And Experience
Your profile:

• Background in IT studies and possess programming skills (e.g. Python) along with knowledge of object-oriented programming, automation tools, and testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of the Linux environment, including scripting with ksh or bash.
• Good communication skills in English (both spoken and written) and enjoy working in an international, team-based environment.
• Strong willingness to learn and expand your knowledge.
