Ajax Systems is an international technological company and Europe's largest security system manufacturer. In addition, the company offers solutions for video surveillance, smart homes, fire detection, and flood prevention. The product portfolio includes 180 wireless and wired devices for security and automation. Today, Ajax protects over 3.5 million users in 187 countries worldwide. The company employs 4,100 specialists. Currently Ajax has access control solutions for resedential and SMB including various keypdads with and without readers, input/output modules, access cards and central panels that handle all business logic on site. We want to expand our ecosystem to enterprise scale access control. We're looking for a Product Manager to drive the development and growth of our new access control product line. This role is a unique opportunity for a passionate professional who can align market needs with company's short-long-term vision, ensuring seamless development of access control related products and features. Qualifications:
  • Communication Skills: ability to communicate clearly and concisely with different stakeholders;
  • Empathy: understanding and empathizing with users' needs, frustrations, and expectations;
  • Problem-Solving Skills: strong critical thinking to quickly identify issues, analyze possible solutions, and make decisions that benefit the product and users;
  • Adaptability & Flexibility: comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly based on business needs and user feedback;
  • Multitasking: be ready to manage multiple products simultaneously;
  • Curiosity & Continuous Learning: being naturally curious and always willing to learn about the market, new technologies, or customer needs to stay ahead in product development.
Hard skills:
  • Experience in access control;
  • Market Research & Analysis: knowledge of how to conduct market research, analyze competitors, and understand market trends to make informed product decisions, make a calculation of unit economy;
  • Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge: understanding of relevant industry regulations (e.g., GDPR for data privacy, legal, financial region diversity) that may impact the product's design or functionality;
  • Wireframing & Prototyping: experience with tools like Figma, or Miro to create low-fidelity wireframes and prototypes that communicate the intended design and functionality of the product.
Would be a plus:
  • Experience in building products from scratch
  • Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as sales, engineering, UX/UI, customer support, marketing
  • Pre-sale experience
  • Technical background
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify market and customer needs for access control products align them with the company's mid and long-term goals;
  • Research markets and competitors to ensure the best value proposition;
  • Manage entire product lifecycle — from ideation through launch, to continuous improvement;
  • Take full ownership over the product vision, strategy, and roadmap of Ajax Access Control devices, features. Define and articulate them clearly with business and RnD stakeholders;
  • Analyse, and integrate feedback to refine product features and ensure regulatory compliance;
  • Prioritise data-driven and feedback-driven approach in feature development, ensuring minimal risks and time to market.
