Maintenance Manager

About the Role:

We are looking for a Maintenance Manager for our Zotefoams Poland site in Skarbimierz. Reporting to the Head of Maintenance Europe, you will lead the maintenance and technical service function across all operating equipment, plant installations and site infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring safe, compliant and reliable operations while developing a high performing team and supporting continuous improvement across the site.

Role Responsibilities:

• Ensure effective maintenance of all plant, equipment and infrastructure including nitrogen systems, power supply, energy distribution, natural gas/LNG, water, sewage, sprinkler and fire safety systems.
• Maintain and oversee building infrastructure requirements.
• Coordinate the annual maintenance plan in collaboration with the UK maintenance team.
• Provide maintenance expertise and lead planned, preventive and routine electromechanical maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues, record outcomes and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Oversee verification, storage and management of tools, documentation, and spare parts.
• Negotiate and manage service contracts and oversee subcontractors.
• Engage with suppliers to support projects and site improvements.
• Develop and implement safe working procedures and systems in cooperation with the OHS representative.
• Lead, mentor and develop the maintenance team, building technical capability and performance.
• Contribute to new projects focused on improving maintenance operations.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure documentation, equipment records and inventory accurately reflect site conditions.
• Ensure safe working systems including permits, risk assessments and compliance with applicable laws and standards.
• Provide timely reporting, maintain confidentiality, and support an effective site culture.

What you'll need:

Knowledge / Qualifications

• Higher technical education in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance processes and production continuity.
• Understanding of technical solutions in electronics, automation and workshop operations.
• D1 and D2 supervision authorisations.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong team management and leadership skills.
• Analytical thinking with the ability to make sound decisions.
• Able to work under time pressure and respond quickly in difficult situations.
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to read technical drawings.

Experience

• Minimum years' experience in a similar role within a production environment.
• Experience managing technicians and specialist teams.

Languages

• Communicative level of English.
