About the Role

Poland is a key market for our European operations, with a significant processing presence, and the broader Central Eastern Europe region represents a strong growth opportunity. We are in the process of acquiring additional companies in this area and plan to continue expanding further. To support this, we are looking for a Polish- and English-speaking professional with experience in fast-paced environments (such as strategy consulting, M&A, corporate strategy, or start-up operations).

This is a cross-functional role that plays a key part in unlocking synergies from our acquisitions, leading projects to drive incremental EBITDA and collaborating closely with teams from our acquired entities. The Associate will engage extensively with local teams and should be flexible to travel across Europe.

Reports to - Chief of Staff (Europe)

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Integration of acquired entities in Captain Fresh network
  • Facilitate unlocking of synergies and integration in Captain Fresh platform
  • Understand acquired entities processes & sales cycle to identify areas for improvement
  • Act as Captain Fresh HQ representative locally
  • Ensure local entities adopt Captain Fresh tools
  • Pre-acquisition support

Compute synergies potential of joined forces between the target & Captain Fresh according to our playbook

Conduct light commercial & operational due-diligence on the target (market analysis, company positioning, competition mapping, teams interview, on-site visit)

Identify targets

  • Strategic projects portfolio management

Own & support on European strategic projects (market analyses, set-up of S&OP processes,3-year roadmap strategy, …)

Support for reporting business performance to Captain Fresh senior leadership

Surface opportunities to improve EBITDA

  • Facilitate roll-out & communication between CF HQ & Poland

Contribute to internal and external presentation materials for CEO office & leadership discussions

Act as a reliable link between Polish operations and the Group CEO Office on ad hoc request


The candidate must be hands-on, structured with attention to the detail and strong interpersonal skills to navigate local and international teams. The person will work under Europe Chief of Staff supervision.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business, Economics, Finance - Master's degree is a plus
  • Experience: 1–3 years of relevant work experience in strategy consulting, M&A, corporate strategy, or operations
  • Languages: Fluent in Polish and English (written and spoken). German language is a plus

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to translate data into actionable insights

Hands-on, structured, and detail-oriented approach with high reliability

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with local and international teams

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides
