Role overview
The Treasury Back Office Team performs daily and monthly Cash Management and Treasury Back Office activities to ensure data consistency for group consolidation and to execute financial transactions within agreed timelines.
What you'll be doing
- Performing daily Treasury Back Office tasks – handling treasury transactions within the back-office function, including trade settlement, confirmation, and accounting;
- Executing month-end Treasury Back Office tasks – balance sheet reconciliations and HFM reporting;
- Treasury and National Bank reporting;
- Managing daily bank accounting activities;
- Preparing Cash Flow Forecasts – estimating cash flow movements for Western Europe Carlsberg companies;
- Managing bank user access – granting and maintaining access in line with internal control procedures;
- Managing bank accounts – opening and closing accounts for Carlsberg entities, configuring systems, and maintaining terms and conditions for cash pool accounts;
- Handling Know Your Customer requests from the banks;
- Supporting Group Treasury in liquidity and financial risk management;
- Supporting Genpact Cash Management Team;
- Cooperating with internal and external auditors;
- Cooperating with external banks;
- Contributing to continuous improvements in Treasury processes, including participation in Treasury projects.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who:
- Has 3+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Treasury, preferably with expertise in shared services/business process outsourcing and an educational background in accounting/finance;
- Has good command of written and spoken English (minimum B2 level);
- Is proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and SAP;
- Understands accounting terminology, including IFRS;
- Possesses strong analytical skills;
- Enjoys working in a diverse, international environment;
