We are looking for a Mid/Senior QA Engineer to join our client's growing team in Zielona Gora or Poznan, Poland, who will provide expertise in areas of manual and automation testing to improve practices, tools, and processes. They will work collaboratively across the entire engineering organization and help ensure best practices within the team.

Skills
Experience:

  • 3+ years experience working in a QA position, writing manual and automated test cases, and performing tests
  • Familiarity with project management and bug tracking tools (e.g. JIRA, Testrail)
  • An understanding and experience with Javascript (bonus points for experience with React JS)
  • Knowledge and experience in using or other automation tools
  • Experience with Swagger or similar tools is a bonus
  • Self-sufficiency in managing work to meet goals and deadlines
  • Excellent English communication and the ability to effectively explain technical concepts in a clear and concise way

What You'll Be Doing (daily/monthly Tasks)

  • Improve the quality of our product through the design and implementation of automated unit, integration, and functional tests
  • Perform a variety of manual tests including UI tests, regression tests, and exploratory tests
  • Explore and help to implement automated test cases
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of test plans (test cases, test scenarios, testing cadence, and test execution)
  • Proactively pursue the resolution of impediments to testing
  • Design and execute test plans to ensure code quality of releases
  • Write detailed, high-quality bug, issue, and regression reports for issues encountered during testing and follow-up on them where needed
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering to ensure accurate project execution
