Global Group IS Service Manager

Your Role And Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead defined service lines in the design and development of end-to-end lifecycle roadmaps and effective and efficient delivery of services together with a team of dedicated internal and external suppliers. Each day, you will oversee designing, implementing, and maintaining the framework to deliver the services in scope, on time, within budget, and in line with the customer's expectations. You will also display your expertise by managing multiple third-party global vendor contracts to assure high service quality and optimizing the cost.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and management for multiple IS services and teams.
  • Build, deliver, and optimize IS solutions/services within budget and timelines, leveraging internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Monitor SLAs and service metrics to identify improvement and rightsizing opportunities.
  • Oversee installation, maintenance, and optimization of processes related to IS service delivery.
  • Manage budgets and contribute to cost and schedule planning as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate IS policies, standards, and external regulations.
  • Function as escalation point for major incidents, critical situations, and impactful changes or projects.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement, roadmap management, and alignment with ABB IS strategy.
  • Guide, coach, and develop team members, ensuring proper organization, staffing, and skills.
  • Communicate effectively to ensure stakeholder understanding and adherence to strategic goals.

Qualifications For The Role

  • Functional / Technical skills: Systems Development, Service and Operation Management, Process improvement and optimization, Business Analysis, Data Analytics, Agile methodology, Project management, IT management Governance Risk and Compliance, Security and Privacy
  • You have 5 years of experience in Service Management
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Application Management or Architecture or equivalent work experience.
  • You are at ease communicating in English.
