We're currently looking for
SAP Quality Engineer (Custom Code)
, who will be part of Application DevOps Platform and of the central S/4HANA Architecture team. This team is responsible for addressing all centralized needs related to the S/4HANA solution, including Fiori Launchpad management, custom code security checks, and the promotion of development best practices aligned with enterprise architecture design principles.

Your Responsibility:

• Custom Code Review (ABAP): Analyze and validate custom developments to ensure adherence to SAP best practices and internal coding standards.
• Guideline Enforcement: Ensure development guidelines are properly documented, communicated, and followed across teams.Cross-functional
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, authorization/security teams, architects, and project managers to align on quality expectations.
• Quality Tools Management: Utilize tools such as ATC (ABAP Test Cockpit), Code Inspector, and SAP BTP Quality Gate to monitor and enforce code quality.
• Developer Support: Assist development teams in resolving quality issues and promote continuous improvement.
• Documentation & Reporting: Produce quality reports, track KPIs, and provide actionable recommendations.

Technology Stack You Will Work With

• ABAP and ABAP OO languages, with RAP approach
• ATC – ABAP TEST COCKPIT
• CCLM – Custom Code Lifecycle Management
• Transport Requests and Version management
• ABAP Unit Analysis of custom code

Your Skills And Expertise

• Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA and ABAP ( classic and ABAP in the cloud) development.
• Strong knowledge of SAP quality assurance tools (ATC, SCI, etc.).
• Familiarity with SAP authorization concepts and security best practices.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive mindset.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in SAP environments.
• Fluent English, written and spoken (German is a plus)
• Nice to have: Experience with SAP BTP or SAP Cloud ALM.
• Exposure to Agile or DevOps environments.
• SAP certifications (e.g., ABAP for S/4HANA, Quality Management).
