We are looking for a
Software Asset Manager
to join a global IT organization. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing software assets and licenses across the company, ensuring compliance, cost efficiency, and alignment with business goals

What you will do

  • Develop and manage license consumption metering processes and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with software licensing terms, identify potential risks, and take corrective action
  • Analyze license usage data to identify optimization opportunities, underutilized licenses, and make recommendations for efficient license allocation.
  • Develop and implement license usage policies and guidelines in collaboration with stakeholders to ensure compliance and cost efficiency.
  • Operationally manage contracts and vendor relationships to maximize value and optimize software licensing and maintenance costs.
  • Run internal licensing portfolio governance and reporting, providing insights on compliance, budget, and cost optimization to support informed decision-making.
