Infrastructure Consultant

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Daily management of large Windows VM farms (around 3000 VM's) on three platforms: on-prem (VMware), Azure and AWS. This includes troubleshooting on IT platforms, servers and networking level
• Microsoft Exchange server farm management: monitoring, patching, upgrading, troubleshooting
• Work daily with ServiceNow and Jira and resolve incidents, standard changes and track project tasks
• Participation in migration and optimization projects
• Monitor and troubleshoot of operational servers with all kinds of roles and system specific applications
• Work with IT Security and the rest of team on identifying and resolving the security vulnerabilities
• Perform upgrades and patches of the infrastructure
• Participation in 24/7 on-call duties

Qualifications:

• Professional experience: At least 7+ years of experience in a role related to Windows administration.
• Knowledge of Windows Operating System: In-depth knowledge of various Windows Server versions including installation, configuration, security features and update management.
• Proficiency in using tools for managing Windows updates (WSUS, SCCM, Windows Update for Business), monitoring (SCOM, Prometheus, Grafana) and backup (Veeam)
• Experience in management of Active Directory and RDS server farm
• Familiarity with VMware vSphere/Cloud Director and virtual machine management
• Experience in Microsoft Exchange (from version 2016) administration including version upgrades, patching and troubleshooting, SMTP Load Balancing services (KEMP)
• Strong understanding of IT security principles, including knowledge of common Windows vulnerabilities and methods to mitigate them.
• Ability to analyze security reports, system logs, and identify potential threats.
• Experience in automating administrative processes using PowerShell, bash scripts, Terraform or other tools.
• Basic understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and tools for analyzing network traffic.
• Public Cloud Experience is a plus – documented experience or knowledge about Azure, M365 or AWS
