DigitalMara is hiring. We are a worldwide software service provider and currently looking for a Data Engineer to join our team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience architecting data platforms on AWS, GCP, or Azure using object stores, warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift), or lakehouse frameworks (Databricks, Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg, Hudi).

  • Strong background in data lifecycle management, row-level deletes, and partition strategies.

  • Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration and policy-as-code tools (Apache Kafka, Airflow, OPA, Rego, etc.).

  • Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and compliance requirements related to data deletion and retention.

  • Excellent systems-thinking mindset: ability to design safe, idempotent, auditable pipelines.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with data lineage tools (DataHub, OpenLineage, Collibra, Alation).

  • Experience with crypto-shredding or key-based data erasure.

  • Understanding of streaming data retention (Kafka/Kinesis).
