MISSION

Ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the area's processes and productive resources to fulfill the established manufacturing, quality, cost and safety goals.

GENERAL FUNCTIONS
  • Supervise the activities carried out in the area in order to reach the targets defined each year for the manufacturing areas (Assembly, Injection, Painting, etc.).
  • Monitor the effective fulfillment of manufacturing programs and define and ensure the implementation of specific action plans in order to fix any problems that may affect the section.
  • Ensure production and quality policy standards are met.
  • Define and implement the measures necessary to control costs, production and insurance of the processes data in different shifts.
  • Report to the Production Manager, or the Plant Manager, regarding the main effectiveness and efficiency ratios in the area of responsibility.
  • When there is no Production Manager, take part in the Plant Committee representing the section.
  • Communicate lessons learned by participating in technical forums and fill out related database.
  • Prepare the yearly budget for the section.
  • Observe Ficosa's Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.
  • Lead the team, guaranteeing its effectiveness, development and motivation, fostering Ficosa's values.
  • Provide the team with the necessary means to comply with OSHE rules, ensuring they are properly used.
  • Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving the OSHE and Quality department.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Academic background:  

Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar



Languages:  
Fluent English (written & spoken)

Experience:

Minimum of 4 years in similar position



Travel:



Willing to travel



OTHER SPECIFICATIONS

Additional training:
 Knowledge in manufacturing, finances, management control or basic training in OHSE management would be of additional value
