Project buyer

Responsible for project procurement for Division Mlog projects in Poland as well as other international projects; taking over responsibility for assigned commodity groups (steel structures; small parts technology) supplier qualifications and audits in Poland and surrounding countries

Your tasks

• Conducting contract negotiations, e.g., for project contracts or external services (procurement of trades)
• Carrying out requests for quotations as well as reviewing, validating, and implementing the resulting orders in the ERP system
• Monitoring supplier performance and conducting supplier evaluations/development measures/risk analysis in assigned commodity groups
• Developing potentials to increase competitiveness and optimize costs

• Optimizing processes within the area of responsibility in coordination with the supervisor

• Several years of professional experience in procurement, preferably in project procurement in mechanical and plant engineering

• In-depth knowledge of procurement, material sourcing, and supplier management processes in a common ERP system
• Completed university degree, e.g., in industrial engineering, (technical) business administration, or a comparable qualification
• Fluent English (spoken and written); German language skills are a big asset
• High initiative, commitment, implementation strength, and resilience
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (approx. 20%)
