ABOUT THE JOB:

For our Corporate division in POZNAŃ Poland we are looking for an:

GL Accountant

What will your daily responsibilities include in this role?

• Posting of financial and accounting transactions from the general ledger area like accruals, GRNI, prepaid expenses, tax related journals.
• Preparing and posting IC payments between group entities.
• Reconciliation of IC balances at the month end.
• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts at the end of the month.
• Participation in the month closing.
• Collaboration with local accounting team in other ad-hoc processes.
• Preparation of internal and external reports depending on company needs, including reports for national bank.
• Support for other processes within the back'up structure.

Our requirements

• University degree in accounting / finance.
• Min. 1 years' experience in the area of finance / SSC (preferably in General Ledger).
• Ability to work independently and autonomously.
• Ability to communicate and gather the information from different departments,
• Proactive attitude,
• Good English in speaking and writing.
• Knowledge of Spanish/Portuguese will be an additional advantage.
• Computer applications knowledge in Windows environment with MS Office experience with focus on Excel.
• Structured and solution-oriented way of working.
