We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive QA Automation Engineer with extensive experience in Java automation. Join our team to support clients using Catalyst Integration Manager, our innovative fintech integration platform.

Responsibilities:

Test Design & Automation:

  • Design, review, and support test documentation (including test plans/test specifications/test results) to align with project requirements and timelines.
  • Design and maintain efficient and effective test cases/test scripts/test suites covering all critical functionalities.

Test Strategy & Planning:

  • Define the overall test strategy for projects, considering project needs and priorities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define quality criteria and acceptance standards.

Test Execution & Reporting:

  • Automate repetitive manual tests using Java.
  • Test execution on test cases and scenarios.
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify the underlying cause of bugs.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Conduct a performance analysis of the testing process and suggest improvements.
  • Proactively identify and propose improvements to the testing process.

Requirements:

Must have:

  • Upper-Intermediate English level.

  • Master's/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.

  • 4+ years of related work experience.

  • Good knowledge of computer science fundamentals: databases, concurrency, and distributed systems.
  • Solid test automation experience with Java.

  • Experience in setting up testing processes from scratch.

  • Solid experience with creating Test documentation (test plans/test cases/bug reports/test result reports).

  • Experience with different types of testing, including performance, security, functional etc.
  • Experience with message brokers (AMQP) or event streaming platforms (e.g., ActiveMQ Artemis, RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc).

Nice to have:

  • ISTQB certification.
  • Experience with Selenium and Playwright.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes.

  • Excellent verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, challenging environment, and be able to adapt easily to changes.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
