We've partnered with an innovative, international business to find a
Senior Accountant
to join their finance team in Wroclaw. This is your chance to make a real impact within a fast-paced, multinational environment and help shape the financial future of a globally recognized brand.

As
Senior Accountant
, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, including the Finance and Operations Director, and contribute to strategic decision-making, all while leading critical financial operations. If you're ready to step up, take ownership, and help drive success—this role is for you.

    : PLN Gross per a month
  • Location
    : Wroclaw (5 days onsite)

What You'll Be Doing:

1. Core Finance Operations:

  • Take ownership of the
    general ledger
    and ensure
    accurate, timely financial statements
  • Oversee key financial functions like
    payables, receivables, and invoicing
  • Strengthen the
    billing and collection process
    to manage debts effectively
  • Implement proactive
    credit collection strategies
    and maintain strong client relationships
  • Ensure the business gets the best value for money from suppliers with
    robust purchasing controls
  • Manage
    fixed asset register
    and handle acquisitions and disposals
  • Perform
    reconciliations
    (including deferred income, cash, and balance sheet accounts)
  • Design and enforce
    internal controls
    and ensure compliance with policies

2. Financial Reporting & Analysis:

  • Lead the
    timely reporting
    of monthly and annual financials, KPI analysis, budget variance reports, and capital project expenditure
  • Optimize data collection and ensure consistent, accurate review of monthly KPIs

3. Collaboration & Leadership:

  • Partner with HR
    on people processes like payroll, performance evaluations, and salary reviews
  • Train and empower finance team members and system users to maximize the use of financial systems
  • Ensure
    system efficiency
    and implement improvements for greater financial accuracy and productivity

Who You Are:

  • Experienced
    : You have several years of hands-on experience in accounting and finance operations within a commercial environment
  • Technical Expertise
    : You have strong knowledge of Polish Accounting and technical accounting, with advanced Excel skills
  • A Relationship Builder
    : Your
    interpersonal skills
    help you work effectively with senior leaders and key stakeholders
  • A Self-Starter
    : You're motivated, deadline-driven, and can manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Fluent
    in
    Polish and English
    (both written and spoken)
  • ERP Savvy
    : You're familiar with financial information systems and have experience implementing
    ERPs
    to improve processes
