We're seeking a future team member for the role of
Vice President, External Reporting II
to join our Finance department. This role is located in Wrocław, Poland.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

• Understand, oversee the production, and review local reporting requirements for specific BNY SANV branches/jurisdictions and other group entities.
• Understand, oversee the production, and review other regulatory reporting returns at the BNY SANV consolidated level within prescribed regulatory deadlines.
• Operate within a strong control environment for data production and reporting, ensuring certification, analytical review, and checklists are completed to the required standard. Adhere to regulatory governance policies.
• Collaborate with other functional and business areas, such as Corporate Treasury, Risk and Compliance, Legal, and Business Line Management, to oversee the production of regulatory returns.
• Support projects aimed at achieving business objectives related to regulatory reporting and compliance with new regulatory rules, and provide advisory services on business changes and restructures.
• Assist the manager in supporting the business and business partner departments regarding the impact of new business and regulatory rules.
• Stay informed about legislative and regulatory developments, maintain knowledge of external reporting requirements and procedures, and perform other functions as needed.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

• Experience in banking regulatory reporting, with knowledge of local EU regulatory and statistical reporting.
• Knowledge of accounting, treasury, liquidity management, and/or regulatory capital.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with, or ability to quickly learn, CRR or other regulations is a plus.
• Ability to analyze large quantities of financial data, draw conclusions, and communicate them effectively.
• Experience in a fast-paced, complex, highly controlled, multinational/multifunctional organization.
• Analytical mindset with an inquisitive and challenging approach.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills (e.g., Power BI).
• Experience with reporting systems and processes.
• Experience in controls.
• Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of another EU language is a plus.
