Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with strong expertise in Python, SQL, and Azure-based data platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building and optimizing data pipelines using Databricks, Apache Spark, and Azure Data Factory, with exposure to both batch and real-time (streaming) processing. The role requires working in Agile teams, implementing DevOps automation, and ensuring data quality and governance across the platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and streaming data processing.
  • Build scalable data solutions using
    Databricks
    ,
    Apache Spark
    , and
    Delta Lake
    .
  • Work with
    Azure Data Factory
    ,
    ADLS
    ,
    Azure SQL
    , and related Azure data services.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation using
    Azure DevOps

    Docker
    , and
    Kubernetes/AKS
    .
  • Ensure strong data governance including security, compliance, lineage, and quality.
  • Perform data quality monitoring, anomaly detection, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
  • Write clear, structured, and comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Communicate effectively in English (minimum B2 proficiency).
