Purpose of the Role

This is a short-term contracting role designed to provide additional PMO support during an internal project aimed at improving project delivery and reporting. The contractor will act as a support resource to the PMO team, taking on daily tasks, learning quickly, and ensuring smooth execution of PMO processes without disrupting the core responsibilities of the permanent team.

Key Responsibilities

• Support PMO Operations:
  Assist with day-to-day PMO activities across the engagement life cycle (pre-sales, delivery, closure).
• Ad Hoc Task Management:
  Take ownership of smaller tasks and administrative activities to free up the core PMO team for strategic improvements.
• Data Handling & Reporting:
  Collect, validate, and consolidate project data for weekly status reports and dashboards.
• Enhanced Reporting:
  Consolidate and validate Sales pipeline data for improved forecasting accuracy. Support Product delivery reporting, ensuring timely updates on milestones and deliverables.Prepare weekly dashboards and reports for management, combining project, sales, and product data.
• Power BI Data Presentation:
  Manipulate, clean, and structure data for visualization in Power BI.Create and update dashboards to present project, sales, and product delivery metrics in a clear and actionable format

• Compliance Assistance:
  Help ensure adherence to defined processes and maintain documentation for audits.
• Onboarding Support:
  Coordinate with HR and project teams to gather onboarding information for clients and partners.
• Timesheet & Cost Tracking:
  Assist in maintaining timesheet records and preparing cost allocation reports.
• Forecasting Support:
  Work with Sales to improve opportunity and revenue forecast accuracy.
• Training Coordination:
  Help schedule and support training sessions for new joiners on PMO frameworks.

Requirements

• Strong Excel and data handling skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic formulas).
• Power BI experience for data manipulation and dashboard creation.
• Ability to quickly learn new tools and processes.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with multiple stakeholders.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying issues.
• Self-starter who can work independently and escalate appropriately.
• Prior exposure to project management or PMO environments is desirable but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with Sales pipeline reporting and/or product delivery metrics is a plus.

Contractor Profile

• Comfortable with short-term, flexible assignments.
• Able to work remotely and collaborate across time zones.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Kantata, Jira, MS Project) is a plus
