Job Title: Senior GL Accountant

Location: Warsaw, Poland (on-site)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that financial information complies with professional and regulatory standards
  • Entering financial data such as accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and interdepartmental entries into the ledger on a monthly basis, as well as preparing reports
  • Performing account analysis to ensure that journal entries and balances are correct
  • Reconciling accounts with the general ledger
  • Gathering supporting documentation and performing record keeping
  • Supporting preparation of statutory statements, statutory and internal audits
  • Keeping abreast of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or associate degree in accounting, or in a related specialization
  • 2+ years' experience in general ledger accounting, or similar. SSC environment will be advantage
  • Understanding accounting standards
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Knowledge of ERP systems
  • Experience with data analytics will be an advantage
  • Collaboration and communication skills
  • Fluent English and Polish including professional vocabulary /other language will be advantage (German/Italian/French)
