Thomson Reuters is seeking a highly motivated ONESOURCE Senior Technical Implementation Consultant (ERP) with hands-on experience implementing SAP and/or SAP financial add‑ons.

In this client-facing role, you will collaborate with ONESOURCE Project Managers and subject‑matter experts to design, configure, and deploy ONESOURCE integration software - providing domain expertise in tax scenarios and integrating ONESOURCE Indirect Tax with SAP ERP, ecommerce, and POS environments. You will work end‑to‑end with project teams to gather and define business requirements, translate them into robust, scalable solutions, and deliver high‑quality implementations across a diverse range of industries and operating models.

About the Role
In this opportunity as an Senior Implementation Consultant, you will:

  • Serve as a primary interface with client tax professionals.
  • Lead business and user requirements sessions and formulate into design/solution documentation for Integration.
  • Assist in the analysis and delivery of SAP integration implementations that reflect an in-depth understanding of the client's tax requirements and compliance process.
  • Engage with other Thomson Reuters teams as appropriate to deliver end to end Indirect Tax integration solutions 
  • Ensure all Indirect tax related requirements are met
  • Explain ONESOURCE Integration for SAP related issues/problems and solutions to non-tax & technical staff
  • Work with clients to translate their tax policy into ONESOURCE integration solutions
  • Install and configure ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Integration for SAP
  • Execute personal working within a controlled project management environment
  • Work with Pre-sales on prospects and bid development
  • Work with functional & technical colleagues to deliver the implementation

About You

You're a fit for the role of Senior Implementation Consultant if your background includes:

  • 5+ years of work experience working with SAP
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Technical experience implementing SAP and/or Add-on Solutions
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues caused when multiple add-ons are installed
  • Skills in troubleshooting and resolving SAP system issues
  • Experience with process analysis, design, mapping, and re-engineering
  • Experience with process/software gap analysis and resolution
  • Experience creating and executing test cases and test scripts
  • Working in the SAP application
  • ABAP Programming capabilities
  • Knowledge of APIs, Webservices (SOAP & REST), xml
  • Up to 10% of travel is expected

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience configuring transaction taxes and related master data within SAP
  • Experience with integrating third party enterprise tax products (e.g. ONESOURCE Determination, ONESOURCE Compliance, Avalara, Sovos, CCH, Sabrix, Taxware and/or Vertex) is highly desirable
  • Financial work experience or related degree
  • Ability to write/modify existing integration software and integrate software applications and modules in accordance with agreed upon specifications, created in partnership with others
  • Create and execute unit testing ensuring software meets requirements
  • Object Oriented Programming
  • SAP Certification
  • Higher Education Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting or Computer Science
